what i learned about shooting action and motion
when you’re shooting action shots the shutter speed is key. a fast shutter will catch the subject with no trace of movement while a lower shutter speed will ad some motion to the photo. while shooting for motion earlier or later times can sometimes add softer lighting to the photo. a tripod can be especially helpful when you want a sharp background with a blurry subject. its better to try to shoot something a bit more predictable so you know when to the the picture.
action shots can help better a photographers reflex. a good way to get good action shots is during sports, plays, and anything that requires sudden movement. a longer lense is helpful when shooting action shots, it gives a lot of flxibility and allows for better photos. panning can aslo be used for action shots.

what is depth of feild
Depth of field is a style of photo that has some form of sharpness to it. There are two kinds, Shallow and good depth of field. A shallow depth of field focuses on the subject letting the background blur. But a good depth of field focuses on the whole thing.
Good depth of field is very popular with landscape style photos, the reason being that its good for capturing very small details that you want your audience to see. Shallow is mostly used when the background is distracting or you want to focus in on the subject. Or it can be used when you want to highlight your subjects features
